Lumber
We use Kiln Dried Lumber.
Advantage:
A Kiln Dried Lumber has 19% or less moisture. The lumber will not twist, or bow. Shrinkage will be reduced and it will be stable.
Benefit:
You will have less cracking and movement in the finished Home and minimal nail pops.
Acoustical Sealants at Floor and Roof Connection
Bead of acoustical sealant under the perimeter wall.
Advantage:
Eliminates air leakage and drafts.
Benefit:
Maintains comfort and energy efficiency.
Insulation
Fiberglass insulation installed from the outside of the home.
Advantage:
It will eliminate air gaps on the cold side of the insulation therefore preventing convection currents from being created within the walls.

Blown In Insulation
It dissipates the excess moisture.
