Jim Craig is an islander, born and raised. He grew up in a small community just outside of Tryon, P.E.I., and as a result of a close-knit community upbringing, he is a big believer in treating the client the way he would want to be treated. After nearly eight years in the business, Jim is proud that a lot of his past clients have become his friends and the relationships formed during the sale of a home continue long after the transaction has been completed. Jim started working in real estate in 2007 when he left the military after 12 years of service. His time in the military plays an integral role in how he lives his life today. He believes in honesty and putting other people’s needs before his own. “You’re helping people to find their new home or helping them to invest their hard-earned money, and that is pretty exciting and a great privilege,” he says. Jim donates a percentage from every commission to veteran association advocate programs.

When dealing with clients, Jim knows it is important to keep an open mind and remember that the client won’t always be in the same mindset or time zone. He works with clients from all over North America who are looking to call P.E.I. home and his phone is always on. Luckily, he has a very understanding and supportive family.
